The Company
Reach International is working with this global acountancy firm based in Bahrain to appoint an Internal Audit & Risk Compliance Services Manager to report to a Senior Manager.
The Internal Audit & Risk Compliance Services team deliver services that help organisations manage strategic risks and identify industry best practices and cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities. This firm also helps them to transform their internal audit function from a traditional, transaction-based role to one that can deliver strategic business information.
The Role
Ability to undertake the following types of engagement:
- Risk-based internal audits;
- Enterprise risk management;
- Corporate governance advisory;
- Cost improvement reviews;
- Contract compliance reviews.
Key responsibilities
- Handle 1-2 engagements at a time
- Manage 1 to 4 subordinates
- Review of engagement team members’ work
- Deliver presentations (engagement specific)
- Proposal development (assist lead manager)
- Roll out in-house training programme for junior staff
The Candidate
- Must be a fully qualified accountant such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
- Minimum of 7+ year’s Audit experience the majority within in internal audit
- From a sizeable accountancy and /or consulting firm, or a leading commercial organization
- Must have Financial Services experience, ideally investment banking or insurance. Islamic Banking experience an advantage.
- Fluency in Arabic an advantage but not essential
