Average summer temperatures are 86°F/ 30°C and in winter, they rarely fall below 61°F/ 16°C.
Cyprus gained independence from the UK in 1960 and became a member of the EU in 2004. It has a population of approximately 855,000 and with its highly developed infra structure, Cyprus is sought as a base for offshore businesses.
